What we select for

Not every aged domain deserves a 301.

A high DR on a spreadsheet means nothing if the links behind it are spun directories, hacked pages or a dead network. Before a domain earns a place in our portfolio it has to pass the checks a careful buyer would run — we just run them first, and we run them by hand.

  1. 01

    Real, non-spam backlinks

We open the referring pages, not just the metrics. Local press, suppliers, associations and the directories real businesses earn — yes. Comment spam, sitewide footers and link farms — no.

  2. 02

Authority the links can back up

DR, TF and CF have to be supported by referring domains that make sense. When the score is high but the links behind it are thin or manipulated, we walk away.

  3. 03

    Clean Wayback history

We step through the archive year by year: no pharma or adult past, no foreign-language spam takeover, no earlier PBN footprint, no parked years hiding a gap.

  4. 04

    Indexed, with no penalty signs

The domain still shows in Google with no sign of a manual action or deindexing — something you can verify yourself before you pay.

  5. 05

    A real business behind it

Many of our best finds were once local businesses with a Google Business Profile, citations and local links. That is about as natural as a link profile gets.

  6. 06

A topic you can actually use

Each domain is tagged with the niches it can redirect or rebuild into, so you are not forcing a bakery’s links onto a sportsbook.

Need a domain for a specific casino geo, niche or metric floor?

Send us a hunt brief

Casino & iGaming

Aged domains for casino & iGaming SEO.

Gambling is one of the hardest niches to earn links in. Editorial sites won’t touch it, and paid placements get noticed. That’s why casino and sportsbook SEOs lean on aged domains — redirected into money sites, used as PBN nodes, or rebuilt as topical authority sites. Casino and iGaming buyers are who we hunt for first.

regional press league site sponsor city guide Aged domain 14 yrs · clean 301 Your money site
Link equity follows the redirect — so the links have to be worth following.

Who we hunt for

  • Casino affiliates301s into money sites, sportsbook pages and new geo launches.
  • iGaming SEO agenciesA steady supply of vetted domains for client networks and PBNs.
  • Casino owners & operatorsAuthority for a new brand or market entry without waiting years.
  • Casino marketersDomains for rebuilds, support sites and topical clusters.
  • 301 redirects

Point an aged domain’s equity at a money site or a new geo launch. We flag which domains have a believable bridge to gambling — sports, events, entertainment, local news — and which don’t.

  • PBN nodes

Domains with separate histories, registrars and link sources, so your network doesn’t share a footprint. If two of ours were ever in the same network, we tell you.

  • Rebuilds & authority sites

Restore the original site, then publish around it. The links keep their context and the domain keeps looking like what it always was.

Buyer tips

Worth weighing before you redirect into gambling

  • If a domain’s best links come from schools, councils or charities, they may be pulled once it turns into a casino site. Check where the strongest links come from.
  • A big jump in topic weakens a redirect. A closer match with a lower DR often beats a higher DR with no relevance.
  • Gambling rules differ by country and some registrars restrict gambling content. Check your market before you redirect.

How expired domains reach us

We work the whole drop cycle.

A domain doesn’t vanish the day its owner forgets to renew. It moves through a predictable lifecycle, and there are three moments to catch it: at auction, at closeout, or the second it drops.

  1. Day 0

    Expires

The renewal is missed. The site may go dark, but its links are still out there.

  2. Up to ~45 days

The registrar holds the name. Many list it for auction inside this window.

  3. Inside grace

Timings shown are typical for .com and other gTLDs. Registrars and country-code TLDs vary — we track each one separately.

How we hunt

From millions of names to a handful worth keeping.

Every day, millions of domains pass through drop lists, expiry auctions and closeouts. Nearly all of them are worthless for SEO. This is the routine we use to find the few that aren’t.

  1. Scan millions of names / day
  2. Filter metrics + spam score
  3. Forensics archive + anchors
  4. Hand audit every link page opened
  5. Acquire a handful
Then each survivor gets restored, priced and listed — or quietly kept for our own sites.
  1. Step 01

    Scan the drops

We pull the day’s expiring, auction and closeout lists — plus closed local businesses we spot through Maps and directory data.

  2. Step 02

    Filter on metrics

Referring domains, DR, the TF/CF ratio, spam score, language and TLD. Most names stop here, and that’s the point.

  3. Step 03

    Archive forensics

Wayback snapshots year by year, ownership changes, redirect history, and whether the site ever sold links.

  4. Step 04

    Audit by hand

Every important referring page is opened and read: anchor, placement, link age, and whether the link still resolves.

  5. Step 05

    Acquire with a ceiling

We bid at auction, buy at closeout or backorder at the drop — never above what the links are worth to a buyer.

  6. Step 06

    Restore and release

Pages that hold links are restored, then the domain goes to our own projects, onto Odys Global, or straight to you.

Local SEO + guest posts

Closed local businesses, brought back to work.

This is the part of the hunt most domain sellers skip. When a local roofer, plumber or restoration company shuts down, its domain drops with years of real signals behind it — a Google Business Profile, citations, supplier links, mentions in the local paper. We find those domains, rebuild the business site properly and keep it running.

Guest posts with real local context

Your link sits inside a relevant article on a site search engines already understand — not on a “write for us” blog that publishes anything for anyone.

Founder & domain hunter · DomainHunt

The hunter

Hi, I’m Rajesh.

I’ve spent my working days in local SEO — building and ranking sites for roofers, plumbers, HVAC and restoration companies, and learning why some domains carry a kind of trust a brand-new one can’t buy.

That’s how the hunting started. I needed better domains for my own projects, so I built my own tools to find them, and a process strict enough that I’d trust its output with my own money.

For a long time, everything I found went into my own sites. DomainHunt is where I open that pipeline up — mainly to casino affiliates, iGaming agencies, casino owners and casino marketers, and to any SEO team that would rather buy one clean domain than ten cheap ones.

FAQ

Questions buyers actually ask.

About aged domains, 301 redirects, iGaming use, guest posts and how a purchase works. If yours isn’t here, ask Rajesh directly.

01

What is an aged domain, and why use one for a 301 redirect?

An aged domain is a domain that has been registered and linked to for years — usually by a business or project that has since closed. When you 301-redirect it to your site, the links pointing at the old domain start pointing at yours. Done with a clean, relevant domain, that is one of the fastest ways to add real authority to a money site or a new launch. Done with a spammy one, it imports the spam too, which is why the checks matter more than the DR.

02

Do you sell domains to casino and iGaming buyers?

Yes — they are who we hunt for first: casino and sportsbook affiliates, iGaming SEO agencies, casino owners and operators, and casino marketers. We note whether each domain has a believable topical bridge to gambling (sports, entertainment, events, local news, finance), and we tell you plainly when a domain's best links are likely to disappear once the site changes topic.

03

Why are the domain names masked on the site?

So the list can't be scraped and resold, and so a domain's history isn't handed to everyone for free. Ask about any listing and we'll share the full name so you can run your own checks before you pay. Domains listed on Odys Global follow Odys' own reveal rules.

04

How do you check a domain's backlinks?

Metrics are only the first filter. We open the referring pages, read the anchor text distribution, look at when links were built and whether they still resolve, and check for sitewide footers, comment spam, link networks and hacked pages. Then we step through the Wayback Machine year by year to make sure the site was never taken over by pharma, adult, foreign-language spam or a previous PBN. Every listed domain has passed these checks, but we always recommend buyers run their own before paying — we'll share the full name for exactly that.

05

Do you restore the original content?

Where it helps the links, yes. We restore or rebuild the pages that hold the strongest backlinks so those links point at something relevant again, rather than at a parked page. For local business domains we often rebuild the whole site so it keeps working as a real local resource.

06

How do payment and transfer work?

Domains listed on Odys Global are bought through Odys, which handles payment and the transfer. For direct sales we agree on payment first, then push the domain to your registrar account or send the transfer code. Third-party escrow is available on request for larger purchases.

07

Can you find a domain for my exact niche?

Yes. Send us the niche, target country, the metric floor you care about (DR, referring domains, age), your budget and what you'll use it for — 301, PBN or rebuild. We hunt to that brief and only send domains that pass the same checks as our own portfolio.

08

How do your guest posts work?

Your link goes inside a new article written for the host site's topic, on a site with real history — often a local business site we rebuilt and run ourselves. Links are placed in the body, in context, not in footers or author boxes. If your link doesn't fit the site, we'll say so and suggest a better match instead of forcing it.

09

What local SEO services do you offer?

Google Business Profile setup and optimisation, citation building and cleanup, service-area and location pages, local content and on-page fixes, and a review-request routine your team can actually keep up with. It's the same playbook we use on our own local sites, so we only recommend what we've tested.

10

How long does a 301 redirect take to pass value?

Google has to recrawl the old URLs and see the redirects before anything moves, so it is usually a matter of weeks, sometimes longer for deep pages. Redirecting page-to-page (strong old pages to matching new pages) rather than everything to the homepage tends to work better — we can map that for you.
